Trainimals is a private group training app for iPhone. Friends share one invite-only group of up to 8 people. Each person has one 3D pet.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Join a group

    You can be in one group. You join with an invite code. A group holds up to 8 people. Creating a group sets a daily step goal and a daily minute goal.

  2. Step 2

    Train

    Training comes from Apple Health. The app reads workouts and step count. It does not change Apple Health.

  3. Step 3

    Show up as your pet

    Coins are earned from workouts and steps. They cannot be bought. You spend them only inside the app, on your pet.

Your group

The group is private. Someone joins only with an invite code. When you create it, you set a daily step goal and a daily minute goal. Up to 8 friends train in that one group.

What the group sees

Your display name and your pet. Your email stays private.

Your pet

Each person has one 3D pet. The pet grows by spending earned coins: baby, then child, then grown. Cosmetics are for the grown look. That is how you show up to the group.

Training and coins

From Apple Health

The app reads workouts and step count. A workout is the activity, such as Running, plus when it started and how long it lasted. Steps are a total for the calendar day.

The app does not change Apple Health.

Coins stay in the app

Coins are earned from workouts and steps. About 1 coin per training minute and 1 coin per 100 steps, with a daily cap. They cannot be bought, and they have no cash value.

You spend them only on your pet. Sign-in is Sign in with Apple.
